This week, I’ve had so many ladies tell me they don’t know what to get for their guy for Valentine’s Day. For men, it seems so easy! I’m not sure about you all, but if flowers show up on my desk, I’ll be a happy gal. But figuring out the gift that will brighten Ty’s day is a little harder.
We recently wrote a post about finding a gift based on your partner’s love language. If you haven’t read it, click here. Be sure to take the quiz at the end that will tell you about you and your partner’s love languages. We promise it will make gifting a lot easier.
Ty’s love language is quality time. Above all else, he wants to be together. With that in mind, I gifted him a tour of Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Christmas. If you haven’t heard, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the newest and most innovative sports stadium in the country. It is a work of art and technology! For my sports and stadium loving guy, it was the perfect gift that allowed us to have quality time together while learning more about something he is passionate about.
So friends, if you’re still looking for that perfect gift for your sports fan, consider a stadium tour! We have a feeling your fan will love it, especially because they may not even know tours exist! Oh, and if you don’t live in Atlanta, almost every professional sports stadium offers tours!

The suites and clubs offer the most luxurious accommodations including comfy seats, and all the food and drinks you can consume during the game! The views of the field are pretty spectacular, too. At times, you don’t even feel like you’re in a stadium.
Falcons’ Locker Room
The lockers have the players’ number and name on them which makes it super easy to find your favorite player’s locker! It’s awesome to stand in the same room that professional football players do!
On the Field
The best part of the Mercedez-Benz Stadium was being able to walk on the field. Pro Tip: Go to the very middle of the field and look up at the roof. Engineering nerd or not, the roof is neat! Want to know a fun fact? The roof was designed to look like a camera aperture, the 8 petals appearing to rotate to open and close the roof. In reality, the appearance of rotation is an optical illusion. The 8 petals move in straight lines but move together in a way that creates an aperture-like movement. #Engineering Another fact we learned, was the video board is twice as long as the Washington Monument is tall.
We loved getting a behind the scenes look at the stadium that has hosted or will host (looking at you Super Bowl LIII) some of the best athletes in the United States. Ty loved it, and we think your sports fan will too!
So what are you waiting for? Click here to purchase your stadium tour tickets! Be sure to let us know if you go, we’d love to hear what you thought! And, if you have taken a particularly fun or interesting stadium tour, please let us know. We are always looking for new places to travel and love checking out the local sports venues.
